What it does
An IT roadmap
A plan for your IT that is tied to the firm's business plans, so technology follows where the firm is heading.
Budgets you can plan for
Renewals and replacements are planned ahead, so IT costs are no surprise when they arrive.
Plain-English reviews
Regular reviews of risk, licences and suppliers, written for partners and directors rather than IT specialists.
How it works
We start with your plans, then build an IT roadmap around them and review it with you as things change.
Understand your plans
We talk through where the firm is heading, so the IT plan follows the business plan.
Review what you have
We look at your current systems, licences, suppliers and risks to see what is working and what needs attention.
Agree the roadmap
We set out a clear roadmap and budget, with renewals and replacements planned ahead, for you to agree.
Review together regularly
We meet regularly to review progress, risks and suppliers. We also give advice before big decisions such as new systems, office moves or AI adoption.

Frequently asked questions
Is a vCIO the same as IT support?
No. Day-to-day support is covered by our helpdesk and IT support. A vCIO looks ahead: planning, budgets, reviews and advice on decisions.
Do we need a vCIO if we already have an IT person?
Not necessarily. Some firms use a vCIO to add senior advice alongside the people they already have. We can discuss what would help in your situation.
Can you advise on AI?
Yes. We can advise before you adopt AI, including how it fits your plans and your data. See our AI and automation services for more.
