What it does
Permissions and oversharing clean-up
We find sites, Teams and files shared more widely than they should be, and agree with you who really needs access.
Sensitivity labels
Confidential client information is labelled, so it is protected wherever it goes and Copilot treats it with care.
A pilot group
A small group tries Copilot on real work first. Their feedback decides how, and whether, it goes further.
How it works
Copilot readiness is a one-off project. We prepare your Microsoft 365 data before anyone uses Copilot, then expand only when the pilot shows it is worth it.
We check what is shared
We review SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive for content that is open to more people than it should be.
We fix access and apply labels
Permissions are tightened with your agreement, and sensitivity labels are set up for confidential and client information.
We run a pilot
A chosen group gets Copilot licences, short guidance and a clear set of tasks to try it on.
We measure value with you
We ask the pilot group which tasks got quicker and which did not, so your decision on wider use rests on your own experience.
Why it matters for legal, financial services and insurance firms
Law firms
Matter files must only reach the people working on the matter. Fixing oversharing first stops Copilot surfacing one client's documents to another team. IT for law firms
Financial services
Customer and financial information needs tight control. Labels and clean permissions help you show that AI use stays within your obligations. IT for financial services
Insurance
Claims and policy documents often sit in widely shared folders. Tidying them first means Copilot answers from the right information for the right people. IT for insurance
Other AI and automation services
AI policy and staff training
A clear policy on which AI tools are allowed and what must never go into them, and training to match.
Workflow automation
Intake forms, onboarding checklists, approvals and reminders, built with Microsoft 365 tools.
Safe use of AI assistants
Practical rules and settings for using Microsoft Copilot and Claude on everyday work.
All AI and automation services
The full range of AI and automation services, and how they fit together.
Frequently asked questions
Does Copilot make our data available to Microsoft for training?
Microsoft states that Microsoft 365 Copilot does not use your organisation's data to train its foundation models. We show you where Microsoft documents this so you can check it yourself.
What if our permissions are already a mess?
That is common and it is the reason to start here. We prioritise the most sensitive areas first and work through the rest with you.
Do we need Copilot licences before you start?
No. The clean-up and labelling help whether or not you go ahead. Licences are only needed for the pilot group.
How long does a pilot run?
Long enough for the group to use Copilot on their normal work. We agree the length and the tasks with you at the start.
