Who we are
modernise (“we”, “us”) is a managed IT services provider. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at dpo@modernise.technology.
What information we collect
When you use this website, we may collect:
- Details you send us. If you use our contact form, this is your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), sector, the services you are interested in and your message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider, including its spam check on the contact form, processes your IP address and basic request details so that the site loads and stays secure.
Why we use it
We use the details you send us to reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss working together. We use technical information to deliver the website and to protect it from misuse. We do not use your details for automated decisions, and we do not sell them.
Who handles your information
We use a small number of providers to run this website and our business:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, helps keep it secure, protects the contact form from spam and provides our cookie-free analytics.
- SMTP2GO is the email delivery service that sends your contact form message to us.
- Microsoft 365 is the email service we use to receive and reply to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for 30 days after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep them as set out in our client terms. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. It does not set cookies or store anything on your device, and it does not track you across websites or build a profile of you.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email dpo@modernise.technology. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. Last updated: 13/10/2026.
