Systems we connect
- Single sign-on
- Managed devices
- Access rules
- Microsoft 365
What it does
Sign in with Microsoft 365
Staff use their Microsoft 365 account and multi-factor authentication to sign in, where the system supports it.
Access from managed devices
Where sign-in goes through Microsoft, we apply conditional access so the system can only be reached from approved, managed devices and locations.
Access that follows the people
When sign-in goes through Microsoft, disabling someone's Microsoft account stops them signing in. We also follow a joiners and leavers checklist for each system.
How it works
We check what your system supports before we change anything. Then we set it up with your supplier's recommended settings.
Review what your systems support
We look at each business system and confirm whether it can use Microsoft 365 single sign-on and which security settings the supplier recommends.
Set up sign-in and access rules
We connect the system to Microsoft 365 sign-in, switch on multi-factor authentication and apply access rules for approved devices and locations.
Joiners and leavers
New starters sign in with their Microsoft account once the supplier's system has been set up for them. When someone leaves, we disable their Microsoft account and work through the checklist for each system.
Ongoing: add-ins, updates and liaison
We deploy Outlook and Teams add-ins to managed devices and keep them up to date. When an issue spans your IT and the supplier's, we work with the supplier's support team for you.

Frequently asked questions
Do you support our case management system?
No. Your supplier supports the application itself. We connect it securely to your Microsoft 365 environment, set up sign-in and access rules, and follow the supplier's recommended set-up.
What if our system does not support single sign-on?
We still review what it does support. Where sign-in cannot go through Microsoft, we agree a checklist for access with you and the supplier, and apply the supplier's recommended security settings.
Is our data in these systems backed up?
Data held in a supplier's cloud system is backed up by that supplier, not by us, so ask each supplier how they back up your data. Our backup service covers Microsoft 365 and infrastructure you own, such as servers.
Do we need to change supplier?
No. Your current supplier stays in place. We work with their support team to connect the system to Microsoft 365.
